#help (b/c I am #lazy and time-challenged). RE: this #book --> Breaking Together: a freedom-loving response to collapse, by Jem Bendell

I really don't want to read this right now, but it's being hard-recommended to me by a friendquaintance. In my entire 3 minutes of online searching I haven't found reviews yet, besides Amazon (I'll read them eventually, maybe) and sites that seem geared toward agreeing with the author, so those don't seem useful.

If you've read this, would you be willing to give a very brief synopsis of the upshot?

[Perfectly honest: the reasons I don't want to read this are

1. The friendquaintance is a "libertarian" who refused to vote because both parties bad though everyone he knows and loves is super Trumpy

2. This person is also in a stage of his life where he occasionally says things like "I've actually decided that bloated government welfare programs are not always horrible, in specific circumstances!" and I think these truly are brave revelations for him

3. The cover has fucking *Atlas* on it. And he's fucking *Shrugging*. Been there, done that.

I'll keep looking for reviews online, but if you have read this and want to give me a three-sentence synopsis of what the author is arguing, that would be super fab.
