Thank-you both for your comments. BTW, the *only* issue I am awaiting instruction on from my moderators, is whether offenses should be removed if followed by context/withdrawal.
I think such is more valuable to the conversation than being afraid to bring up such topics at all.
I think that's very relevant today, as a certain mid-east government is protecting itself from criticism by saying criticizing the current government is to denigrate an ethnic group.

The word "Israel" used to denote a bronze-age tribe that was 100% mapped to "an ethnic group". Now it can mean that group, or it can mean a national government that is hated by a fair fraction of their own population, which includes multiple religions and ethnicities.
So if you say "Israel is [bad]", then clarify in following posts that you meant only the Netanyahu government, does the original post have to go?

The removal was notified by email, the rejection of appeal, only appeared on my account page. While puzzled by the timestamp, I accept it, and will follow this limitation in future.
I've been killing a lot of time on Mastodon over the holiday, leading to more posting, and now this mortifying embarrassment.
A great time to shut up for a few months, meaning not reading, either (can't help clapbacks). I will check on Feb 1 for messages.
