The driver's license test should include an obstacle course in the largest vehicle your license qualifies for, with a manual transmission.
And traffic Engineers should have to ride a bike with their kid to school in order to maintain their license.
@enobacon Can this come with an option to dial back the license class to what you genuinely need, get the incentives pointing in useful directions? Maybe with progressive licensure fees to go with it?
I passed my test in a '79 stickshift VW Rabbit, but I can't imagine doing that test with the shit they'll let me operate now, there would be fatalities just trying to get out of the DMV parking lot.
@enobacon I was 19 when an internship required me to drive a cube truck with a manual transmission in the Loop (downtown Chicago) during rush hour. I passed that test.
@enobacon Ride their kids to school, allow their kids to ride home by themselves.
@enobacon You must retake and pass it every other year to keep your license.
