So I am testing out #whalebird
The official app with its pre-defined widths really bugs me.
@DuncanWatson So far I really like it. I suspect once I master the filters, keyboard commands and setup custom views I will be very attached. Already I have access to information that was not easy to find in the default web app.
@DuncanWatson I also like the slack style interface.
I have stopped using #whalebird
In the end it consumed way to many resources to perform worse than the default mastodon web client.
It was slow to react to my postings and threading. And given how much memory and cpu it consumed, I couldn't keep it on my PC.
