The driver's license test should include an obstacle course in the largest vehicle your license qualifies for, with a manual transmission.
@enobacon Can this come with an option to dial back the license class to what you genuinely need, get the incentives pointing in useful directions? Maybe with progressive licensure fees to go with it?
I passed my test in a '79 stickshift VW Rabbit, but I can't imagine doing that test with the shit they'll let me operate now, there would be fatalities just trying to get out of the DMV parking lot.
@enobacon@urbanists.social@carraway yeah the obstacle course would be bollards and barriers with like 9ft between them, for the lowest class of license you can get at the moment I think it's a giant moving truck.
