I say this as an American, Americans don’t know how to relax. I’m on vacation and taking it very deliberately slow and I feel like I’m pulling on the handbrake while dealing with service employees. I know it’s training and culture but it’s an interesting quirk. #vacation
Like, I’ve been sitting in the hotel lobby reading, channeling my inner #Poirot (I’m a goofy idiot). Not every minute needs to be scheduled with activities, in fact that interferes with the “vacation” part of the vacation. Fortunately there have been no unexpected murders, though.
