En #CARNAVALES estuvimos a tope saltando de un sitio a otro.

En esta ocasión estuvimos en CERVERA DE PISUERGA con nuestro Bosque de los Sentidos, haciendo el duende por ahí.
Adoramos participar en estos desfiles donde podemos disfrutar de los disfraces tan ingeniosos de la gente. Mención especial a dos niños que iban de personajes de Hazbin Hotel 💜 morir de amor es quedarse cortas!

Cette année, le thème qu'on a choisi, c'est la domination masculine. Faut croire qu'on a tapé dans le mille. Ça se déchaine dans les commentaires sur les réseaux sociaux mainstream : " ça suffit le wokisme dégénéré", "bêtise décomplexée", "à boycotter", "carnaval de gauchiasse"...

I know Carnival is over, but I still want to show you something of the Carnival parade on March 8th of this year in Ayamonte #Spain with these pictures. The parade was not as big as in big cities, but that is exactly why it was so moving. There was sun, there was joy, beautiful costumes that had been worked on hard, you could see that. I was moved by it. My husband was too, he said. During that period I lay awake at night because of everything that was happening in the world. But at that moment I forgot all that and enjoyed the fun around me. If you feel like it, maybe experience it a little bit too. I think it was so clever to link an #antifascist protest to a known ritual like the #carnival, with its historical meaning. Carnival always had at least a whiff of antifascism. It served to create a space where "normal rules" do not apply, allowing people to speak truth to power. Yesterday we created an explicitly antifascist carnival & it just felt magical. This was exactly what so many of us needed.

And now let us create a similar worldwide street party on May Day.

Wow that was wild, what a crowd, what a city. Lots of people, dancing, shouting, singing. At the end we burned a winter figure. Lots of people in Luigi costumes, obv. I went as transvestite Anarchik. My partner as a lucha libre fighter. Can't wait to go through my photos tomorrow. Antifascist carnivals everywhere!
