An ussie of me and my one-eyed Lynx Point Siamese cat, Doots. I am sitting in a dining room chair and he is sitting in my lap, with both his front legs splayed out in front of him . My left arm is over his left leg but under his head and right leg. My right arm is extended out, taking the picture with my camera phone. You can’t see my face, because my beauty pales in comparison to the beauty of my cat anyway.

Mayor Doots and Thor were anxious today b/c Loki was at the vet. They both wanted me to come sit on the couch with them while they stared out the window, waiting for him to return.

The good news is Loki is feeling much better! The bad news is he was so spicy at the vet that they couldn’t get a blood draw so he has to go back on Friday (with drugs in him to keep him calm).

I’ve been brushing up on my French and also learning Spanish concurrently with Duolingo. It’s fun, but sometimes I mix up which word is what depending on which language I’m currently practicing (Elle vs Él, for instance). And sometimes I combine words.

I’ve started calling the cats my chatitos* on purpose tho.

*Pronounced “shateetoes” ofc
