Hi @FreeCAD 👋

I am working on an outdoor enclosure for a common Bluetooth thermometer.

This is a work in progress. I am waiting for the delivery of the battery contacts to make the final tweaks.

Will be printed in PETG and receive a coating of UV-resistant acrylic paint. White, to reduce the influence of thermal radiation.

Front view of the enclosure with the front panel off. You can see the thermometer PCB behind a 2×AA battery compartment. Four screw posts are visible that allow securing the front panel. The enclosure is shaped like a classic house with a rectangular base and a pointed roof, overhanging on three sides.
A view from behind shows a slot hole for hanging the enclosure on a screw. Vents are visible on the bottom and at the side where the roof overhang protects them from spray water. This should allow for a relatively good air ventilation.
The front panel is visible from the inside, with battery supports, a seam around the edge that slots inside the main enclosure, posts thst hold the PCB in place, and screw holes.
The original thermometer, a small white box with an LCD screen at the front, showing room temperature and relative humidity.

Ok, it's #FreeCADFriday! Here's the current state of my 16-Spool Filament Rack for my Filament changer! Everything that isn't Aluminum (or ball bearing) was designed in FreeCAD
Edit: The sharp ones among you might notice that it only holds 8 spools so far, which is odd for a 16-Spool Rack. Reason is, the rest of the rollers is still on the printer 😅

A Filament Rack with currently 8 Slots for Filament spools. The Spools are resting on two rollers each which help them spool down when in use. The Rollers have a small chamfer to help the spools keep somewhat centered
The parts involved in the rack (minus the Corners that keep the extrusions together) The two Spool halfs, the Arm that holds the two rows of rollers and an endcap that prevents the rod that goes through rollers and arms from wiggling out on one end of the rack (the rod itself is just pushed in there and then locked with one endcap on either end)

@FreeCAD This #FreeCADFriday I am working on a much improved version of my 3d-printable DIN rail cable comb for wire management.

The model is very parametric so it is easy to generate different variants of the model.

I am very glad about the new function for suppressing PartDesign features - otherwise working on this would be unbearable!
