Progress on the D&D chest! First end piece is securely joined, as is it's companion, once the adhesive fully cures these pieces should fully support the weight of the finished box on a strap.
@JeniParsons I wrote them down. #Nerd

Another perspective of the lid, need to craft some pieces to hide the body of the box at the edges, but at least the panel itself is centered so that should be easy.
It was cool to paint something for 'myself', in that I really wanted to take a lot of what I learned over the years making all types of stuff and apply it to a piece of art that I myself would want to own. I was really trying to impress the 13-year-old me with this one, if that makes sense lol.
Today is the day I am finally posting something I have been secretly working on for the last month or so, it is something I made just because I wanted to do it. I've made a lot of #superhero #art but not really any big battle scenes.

Tray is now permanently bonded to the main box. The box on the side is connected to the tray with magnets as is the lid!

Box and tray are now completed and ready for their permanent attachment to the box.

Different perspective on the lid, the gems really glow in good light

Top panel, the lid, is complete and attached, may still change the outer boarder but for now it's on!

Starting work on the inside of the box. This is a leather roll pad hand stitched to a wood frame. The piece to the left is a magnetic attachment for a box.
