In 2022 NewsCorp #tabloids went all out with copy that read like political advertising – in particular attacking #MoniqueRyan & other #Teal candidates. Yet look at the results & again this time round, in the contest just ended.

Too much listening to & engagement with #SkyNews #AfterDark, & the #Marksons & #Credlins of the world, is a reason why the Libs are so manifestly out of touch. #auspol #ausvotes

Spare a thought for Rupert Murdoch's poor little snowflakes, processing last night's massive defeat. One dude called Andrew Bolt even claimed that "It was the voters who got it wrong."

Of course it was. Nothing to do with your guy being less likeable than slime, promoting uncosted policies including unworkable mini-nukes and leaning heavily towards Trump.

It is unbelievable that people in rural areas continue to support the #National Party, despite the party always supports the big mining companies at the expense of farmers. The National shows little regard for farmland and the environmental health essential for farming. :eyeroll: :eyeroll: :eyeroll:

Since #murdoch's #Skynews already said #Dutton's defeat was due to #LNP not using the Big Gun Barnaby Joyce during the campaign, a leadership #spill is unavoidable.
