I’m a day late, but I hope everyone had a fun and safe #StPatricksDay! This year I enjoyed a variety of #Irish inspired #beers as well as a #cider, and of course you can't ignore a bit o’ Irish #whiskey! Here’s a roundup. Sláinte!

My mutt ancestry includes a strand or three of Irish, but I don't go for green beer, and corned beef and cabbage isn't my go-to. I'd want a lamb stew, but since I'm the only one in the house who'd eat it, a Guinness short rib stew on champ potato and some spotted dog works instead.

I've been having a really rough couple of months, so I decided weeks ago to take off #StPaddysDay. After all, I live in a college town with three breweries—it should be fun to get out, right?
Downtown is fucking dead. I'm sitting in the best brewery/coffee shop combo in town and there are fewer than 10 customers.
Apparently smart people party the weekend before, not on a Monday
