For #TilesOnTuesday the floor of St. Nikolaus at Ruffenhofen, Franconia. The church, located 600 m northwest of the Roman fort in Ruffenhofen, was built in the 13th century with building material taken from the fort. The floor was paved with #Roman tiles.

Medieval tile depicting King Mark & Tristram from the C13th Tristram Tiles which tell the tale of the adulterous love affair between Tristram and Isolde. The tiles were made at Chertsey Abbey, and are now part of the collections at the British Museum. My own #TilesOnTuesday
