Went indoor karting today. What a letdown. I was in a heat together with the greatest collection of imbeciles ever to bring shame to a racetrack.
The group already didn't look too smart in the pre-heat tutorial talk. I know you shouldn't judge a book by its cover.. well, this was a set of books where the cover fully applied.
Half of them thought it was bumpercars, and they figured yellow and red flags meant "send it!!", even if it was clearly explained beforehand "red" means "come to a full stop immediately".
The other half was slow as balls, that's fine. But they didn't understand that "blue flag" means "someone faster is behind you". They kept driving so in the middle that you couldn't pass on either side. Then when they finally clearly noticed me, they just pushed me in the wall.
I don't think they even meant to do that, they just seemed to have no clue how space works.
I didn't feel safe even during yellow of red flags; and unfortunately that was the majority of the "race". I didn't get even half a lap of full speed racing.
What a waste of time and money.
A bit of speculation on my part, but I bet these are the same type of people who vote for fascist parties because they feel they are the "superior race"
