Checker-throated woodpecker, checker-throated yellownape, or Javan yellownape (Chrysophlegma mentale) is a species of bird native to Southeast Asia. They are found in lowland and hill forests, they typically forage at mid-levels of the forest, often joining mixed-species flocks. Much about their life history and breeding biology is unknown. They have a loud, insistent "nyeh" note and a strident "choo-yik!" call.

Yellow-footed tortoise (Chelonoidis denticulatus) also known as Brazilian Giant Tortoise is found in the Amazon Basin of South America. They have distinctive yellow-orange scales on their front legs. Males use head movements to distinguish themselves from females during mating. They are the 6th largest tortoise species on Earth. Unlike most tortoises who are herbivores, yellow-footed tortoise is omnivore.

Rhubarb Bolete Boletellus obscurecoccineus is a species of fungus in the family Boletaceae, found in Australia, New Guinea, Java, Borneo etc. It has a rose-red or rhubarb-coloured, hemispherical to convex cap to a diameter of 7 cm (3 in), with an overhanging margin when young. The cap may crack in older specimen, found in leaf litter of eucalyptus forests. It has no distinctive odor. is an ectomycorrhizal species, meaning it has a symbiotic relationship with certain trees, forming a mutually beneficial relationship by sharing nutrients with the tree roots.
