On #ThisDayInHistory in 1886, violence met a #GeneralStrike in #Chicago for the 8-hour day in the #HaymarketAffair. A bomb was thrown, the cops opened fire, and eight #anarchists were tried for the crime with no evidence of their involvement. Four #HaymarketMartyrs were executed.

The Stranglers said it best in “No More Heroes”: “Whatever happened to Leon Trotsky?/He met an ice pick/that made his ears burn.” Be careful who ya follow kids, every political movement will chew you up and spit you out. Except maybe the #anarchists.

I was walking down the street in my neighborhood when I saw that one of the communist posters I put up was taken down by someone, and in its place was an anarchist sticker (left image). Well, I'm off to my computer right now to download some posters promoting the Marxist Internet Archive (right image), and I'll be putting it right up where the anarchist sticker was, as well as at every street intersection in my local neighborhood.

if the next woman I am with is #vegan I will most likely go vegan etc... but for now I eat #meat and that's just the way it is. If you have a #moral and #ethical dilemma about it then unfollow me or block me because I know many other comrades who are #anarchists and still eat meat.
