Ever since the umbral event, that part of south Jersey was hard to reach. A ferry from Barnegat Light to the cape was the only way to reach. 2/x

CAPE is over 1600 J/kg already, east of Tacoma, and over 1000 all the way up to Seattle. It’s almost 1900 in SE WA/NE OR.

(#CAPE = Convective Available Potential Energy. 1000 is enough to generate supercells/rotating thunderstorms.)

I should probably go home and charge my generator…
