I just updated the prints on my office door to reflect the kind of photos (particularly event photos) that I am taking now -- as well the the new system which supersedes "three sided cards" that attains better branding in every respect except that it doesn't have a name (yet) #photo #photography #prints #cornell

With #Cornell and #Yale Presidents signing onto the statement by the #American Association of #Colleges and #Universities opposing the autocratic #Trump restrictions on #AcademicFreedom , the only Ivy League school that has not joined the now 300+ signatories is Dartmouth College, which is more like a #fraternity masquerading as a #HigherEd institution anyway. #ChangeMyMind

"After freezing all grants to #Columbia University last week, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) is now stopping grant and contract payments to Harvard University and four other universities [#Brown, #Northwestern, #Cornell, #WeillCornell Medical School]…The move will both block new funding and halt payments to investigators currently working on NIH projects…The Department of Health and Human Services (#HHS)…instructed NIH staff not to provide any communication to these institutions or to Columbia about whether the funds are frozen or why, according to the email."

Edgelord minions of Peter Thiel left this manifesto on the door to my building yesterday. Guess they were firing a shot across our bow but they didn't count that the Engineering School deals really harshly with unauthorized posters. To add to the indignity, the buttons in the elevator pictured weren't working until I went down to the basement and called it from there.
