Today I’d like to introduce my first full electric flight with a #Diamond Aircraft #eDA40 in #msfs2020.

Based in #Detmold, Germany I first did some traffic patterns for testing. The plane has a 80 kWh battery for 74 minutes of flying. Two traffic patterns took around 20 % of battery including going going around.

After recharging I did a local flight of around one hour over #Lemgo, #BadSalzuflen, #Herford and #Lübbecke and back to Detmold. A quite strange experience was the standing propeller on the runway short before taking off. eDA40 does also recuperate, but I haven’t seen any charge of the battery. Maybe depleating is delayed.

Today’s 3 good things:

- Mailed my postcards to #Wisconsin voters today.

- Held #Diamond (who historically doesn’t like being held) in a new/different way, and she didn’t hate it. She even began purring contentedly until she suddenly realized what was going on, came to her senses, and requested down. A very good girl.

- Good self-defense class tonight. Learned how to control & bring an attacker to the ground using just their head.💪

Seit der Veröffentlichung des ersten Sonderbands am 19. Februar 2015 hat sich die ZfdG zu einer zentralen Plattform für Forschung im Bereich der Digital Humanities entwickelt. Als digitale Fachzeitschrift bewegt sich die ZfdG an der Schnittstelle zwischen geisteswissenschaftlicher Forschung und digitalen Methoden.

Today’s 3 good things:

- Moved out of my physical office space. It was emotional & bittersweet, but it was the right decision and this was a big step.

- Partner & I were dismayed to find our fave breakfast burrito place has closed. We consoled ourselves with an abundance of Taco Bell to make up for it.

- #Diamond forgave us for an unknown transgression and allowed us to provide her with apologetic belly rubs. She is very forgiving.
