We tried the county park again hoping the bugs would be less rampant. They were, but only a little. The moment we stopped, we get covered by mosquitos. We kept going going but stopped after less than an hour. We never had this problem before.
Hydrangeas were budding at the park, so are mine at home but mine are still very tiny.

Got this "Little Lime" #hydrangea planted to replace a 40-something-year-old azalea bush that died off. It's healthy now, let's see if I don't fuck it up. I've had good luck with hydrangeas as long as they like the spot they're in.

The #Comcast drop runs through here, so I used the side of a trowel to gently scrape dirt out, like I was excavating some priceless archeological treasure. I can live without shrubs, but not without internet.

Our walk in the park was cut short as rain started. But the rain is washing yellow pine pollen off my car, the air, and the ground. The park pond surface was covered with it...

Vibrnum type of hydrangea and multiple-layered variety of cherry blossoms were pretty.

Throwing in a #MultichromeMonday just to be the facetious little self that I am! Plus it was a beautiful hydrangea and cute little bumblebee so enjoy this photo of me pretending like we didn’t get freezing rain today!!

You can enjoy the Hydrangea for so long. This shrub blooms profusely in the summer, even in the shade, in late summer the color changes to pink or green or very dark red depending on which variety you have. And then in winter the flowers become like lace, which is nice to photograph. Only in the spring when fresh green appears on the shrub again, I cut away the old flowers to make room for new blooms. #hydrangea #hydrangeas #flowers #flower #macro #macro-freaks #macrophotography #bloemen #foto #photo #garden #shadegardening #gardening
