Waiting on parts for my main project and needed something to do to fill the boredom, so I made a dragon scale leather grip for my hammer.

Another boredom project, made an unnecessary leather grip for my hair brush, it's surprisingly pleasant to hold. Fun times.

I'd been wanting to make some tooled leather & metal jewelry for a long time, but I couldn't find anything practical and stylish until I came across these brass chains and adjustable rings on Etsy. After a few tests, my first two-material necklaces and rings were ready to discover the world!

I made three different playing card cases to see if I could figure out the patterns, without having them, and to see for myself what they would look like. The first was easy enough to make but needlessly fussy. The second is the simplest and least time consuming. The third is most traditional but I think I like it best. #LeatherCraft #DIY #maker #leather

We've got many leathercraft books and I'm sure there's something in Al Stohlman's case series that has a playing card case. It's all been done before. The trick is finding what works for you. We get inspiration from books, the web and projects we've done before. I expect you to run with some of my ideas as I glean from others before me.
