#BettyWhite now has her own #ForeverStamp from the #USPS , thanks to Boston-area artist #DaleStephanos .

It took him about a year to design and complete. At the request of Betty's family, he included references to her work championing the cause of #AmimalRights , the most obvious symbol being the pawprint earring.

Stephanos' image of Betty brilliantly captures her sense of mischief and fun, by perfectly portraying her joyful smile and sparkling eyes.

#BettyWhiteStamps are now available for purchase through the U.S. Postal Service.

I can understand the reasoning for Danes. Republicans want to privatize US mail service. Not because of expense, but so some wealthy Republican donor can buy it cheap and make money off it. Reagan's Presidency was a role model for this.

@nickharrison That’s a lovely old golden postbox. But post service short changing us and no clamour. Notice the collection times. As where I live, first AND last collection now only at 9am. So no more late pm rush to get it in the post for delivery next day. You’ve missed it by 7 hours. And no collection any more on Saturday. So unless you post before 9am Fri, your letter will not arrive on Monday. ( though it might not anyway for other reasons!) #postalservice #royalmail
