The problem with the term "a cappella" is that it can refer to an isolated vocal track that you are desperately looking for or it can refer to the worst style of music ever created.

I should probably add some caveats to that, mostly regarding baroque and renaissance hoo-ha, but I've just listened to another detailed deconstruction of "Frontier Psychiatrist" so I'm just plain blown.

If I continued now it'd get waaay too Deleuzian.
