I talk a lot about the Nazi’s Aktion T4 program, because many people forget that they tested the gas chambers on disabled people. We were targeted first because we were seen as expendable. “Useless eaters”. People no one would miss.

Did you know they also created a registry of children born who might have mental or physical disabilities? Midwives were paid to report them to the government, and lists were made.

Creating a registry of autistics won’t “solve autism”. But it could set the stage for something far more sinister.

We must remain vigilant and fight back.

Disabled people are not expendable. Autistic people are not dangerous. Health supremacy is.

Seems again very difficult for people to not use eugenic vocabulary when describing fascists. They might want to read up on the history of eugenics, still very much alive today, and Aktion T4.

TL;DR: you can't fight fascism with more fascism.

Up to 300,000 people with "mental or physical defects" were murdered during the Nazi reign because they were deemed unworthy, too costly and a threat for the pure Aryan blood.
All of this was of course illegal by the existing laws then and unacceptable to many. So Hitler, against the rules, made a decree on paper with his private letter head, skipped the mandatory counter-signature, did not have it officially published as required and just put outsider people in charge he seemed fit. To avoid being directly associated with it a new agency was created. Sounds familiar?!
Two years later, they stopped as things did get out to to the public, some influential clergymen did publicly oppose it and above all: those involved were re-asigned to new roles in central positions executing the #Holocaust with millions murdered by the same means on an industrial scale.
