Habe ein Abstands Schild gefunden für Fahrräder!
Jetzt brauche ich noch einen 3D Drucker. Vielleicht frage ich mal im Hackerspace.

ThingiverseBicycle Distance Sign by 3dlyxEDIT I pulled the actual .stl files, because there seems to be a copyright from a design studio that commercializes that design already. That feels a bit counter productive for such an important message that needs to be in public focus by large dispersion. While I wait for the answer of said design studio, I'll design an alternative version myself and publish that here as soon as its ready. It is ready and added to this things things. EDIT END For the love of god, please keep a save distance when overtaking bicycles on the road. In Germany a distance of 1.5 meters (4.9 ft) is mandatory by law but almost never respected or enforced. There are few things scarier on the road than the touch of a cars rear view mirror on your elbow at full speed, or getting sucked into the lane be the sheer force of the draft from a truck that goes by to close and too fast. This sign comes in two flavours, one for multicolor printers, and one for single color printers, the latter is best printed with a filament change at about 1.3mm height. It is of course an option to print it in oe color and just paint the embossed elements afterwards.Just attach it to your bike or backpack as a little reminder. Sometimes it does not take more than that. Maybe add some LED stripes to illuminate it, could be a nice touch.Drive safe!
