I decided to give it a try at work over my phone to my house.. over att, past the spectrum modem, through my router with no ports forwarded and boom. It lives.

@pi4j This is really great, and as soon as we have a new LTS, we will move again, as this will allow us to use Java's new foreign function API et. al. to make our native bindings far easier!

I already did a simple test for GPIOs:

The foreign function API makes it so simple to implement native calls and lessens the burden on maintenance a lot!
