I figured out how to get #LibreWolf working with mobile-config-firefox on #Librem5 running #Mobian #Trixie.

Since the recent change in #Mozilla terms of service, I was trying to use non mozilla browsers and succeeded mostly. On my #Debian sid laptop I mainly use gnome web (which uses #webkit).
But on #FLX1 I still have to use #Firefox. #FreeSoftware

В версии 138, если отключён ResistFingerprinting (а это очень бесящая настройка, которую я порекомендовал бы отключать), то некоторые сайты начнут думать, что у вас устаревший браузер, и откажутся загружаться. Всё из-за того, что почему-то в User-Agent отправляется не "Firefox" как раньше, а "LibreWolf". А ещё после обновления сбрасывается поисковая система по умолчанию на DuckDuckGo. Это до сих пор не исправили, только опубликовали пост (с запозданием).

Я пользуюсь Flatpak-версией LibreWolf, и вчера эта версия для него не выходила. И было бы логичным пока остановить её распространение... Но нет, сегодня эта сломанная версия вышла для Flatpak.

UPD: вышла версия 138.0.1-2 (https://gitlab.com/librewolf-community/browser/bsys6/-/releases/138.0.1-2), в которой эта проблема должна была быть исправлена.

So my #LibreWolf browser just updated and now #WhatsApp web, which was working before the update says "browser not supported".

Anyone know how to fix/get around/bluff my way into the WhatsApp web that WAS working a few moments ago?

Did #Librewolf recently change its user agent string, or how that interacts with the fingerprint resistance settings (which I have disabled)? Can't find anything in their release notes, but it updated today and I had to manually change `general.useragent.compatMode.firefox` to true in `about:config` to get Slack and AMO to stop complaining that I wasn't using Firefox. I know those sites worked before.

Also, yesterday was a busy day overall. I pushed many updates to #nwgshell, #mame, #libreoffice #firefox and even uploaded a arm64 #librewolf package. https://slackware.lngn.net/

would that probably work fine? of course I would not be running either browser when I copied it over. and I suppose I could just cp -r or even make a symlink if I only run one at a time. Or are the profile directories significantly differently managed? #libreWolf

Ich hoste seit einiger Zeit #Searxng selbst. Und bin damit recht happy.

Was nervt, ist dass ich nicht einfach das zu suchende in die Adresszeile eingeben kann und diese Suchanfrage weitergereicht wird.

Stattdessen muss ich auf der automatisch aufgerufenen Suchseite, die Suche erneut eingeben.

Trifft sowohl bei Zen als auch bei #Librewolf zu.

Was genau mach ich hier falsch?

Denn bei startpage.com zum Beispiel reicht der Browser meine Suchanfrage "durch"

Warum lädt #Librewolf eigentlich zu Beginn immer alle Tabs? Ist das ein Bug oder kann man das abstellen?

Denn das macht den Start jedes Mal zum Drahtseilakt...

Chciałem dziecięciu zasilić konto #Microsoft, ale zarówno #Librewolf, jak i #Firefox nie dały rady. Wszystko szło jak zazwyczaj, łącznie z potwierdzeniem transakcji w apce banku, po czym MS twierdził że się nie da i tyle. Dopiero sięgnięcie po #UngoogledChromium pomogło.
