Last night I joined the local run club for one of their weekly runs. 6 miles in total. Lot of fun people to chat with. The end was a bit of a struggle. Hunger started hitting pretty hard in the last 2 miles.

Today, hunger continues to be a struggle. But I'm down 3 more lbs in the last week so that's giving me the willpower to not overeat... for now.

Tu rentres chez toi, fière comme jamais : t'as couru 10 bornes à fond avec les collègues, t’as parlé tout le long, ton cardio a failli exploser et tes cuisses crament à cause des escaliers (merci la prépa Urban Trail). Tu penses que le plus dur est fait. Grave erreur. Le vrai défi, c’est d’enlever cette putain de brassière de l’enfer. T’es trempée, elle a fusionné avec ta peau, et là, tu te retrouves à te contorsionner comme jamais à la limite de te déboîter l'épaule.

Morning Strength work - Pull Day
Post-Lunch Treadmill run - Max effort benchmark

I started a duathlon training program on Sunday. No duathlon race in mind. It kicked off with a max effort FTP cycling benchmark test which was pretty difficult. I just want to do more structured running and cycling in addition to my daily strength work. I was already doing all 3 but only my strength work was structured. I do have a handful of 5ks planned for the year so I figured a short distance duathlon program would get me the kind of workouts I want to do and simultaneously prep for me 5k running events. I picked a MyProCoach plan through Trainingpeaks. Never used their plans before but they looked pretty good.
