A little bit of #houseplant #gardening this afternoon, now the weather is nice enough to get to the greenhouse. A couple of plants given larger pots, one split and spread out into several pots, and some rooted cuttings given compost for the first time.
Note: this particular Christmas cactus flowered at Halloween, and has put on a second bloom starting at the end of January! This is my first time looking after Christmas cactus and so far it seems to be going well.
I don't know what the green pointy thing is, I got it from a cubside help-yourself stall, though I think its an aloe. Not had one before, hence the rather grey looking specimens as I don't know its preferred water/light levels yet.

A collection of houseplants in a greenhouse setting. The largest is a Christmas cactus, not too large, with a generous flush of bright fuchsia coloured flowers, a couple of pots of rather grey looking fleshy spears, the same plant as a more vibrant green specimen also present, I think its an aloe, and two diddy pots with purple variegated tradescantia cuttings.
